National Fentanyl Awareness Day – April 29, 2026

National   Fentanyl Awareness Day is a day of action where hundreds of businesses,   nonprofit organizations, schools, and government offices work together to protect Americans from the deadly threat of illicit fentanyl and counterfeit prescription pills.  Through collaborative education and action, we can save lives.

Arizona Department of Health Services Standing Order for Naloxone:

This  standing  order  is  issued  by  Dr.  Lisa  Villarroel,  MD  MPH  (NPI  #1598085896),  Chief  Medical  Officer  of  Public Health  Services  at  the  Arizona  Department  of  Health  Services.  The  standing  order  authorizes  any  Arizona-licensed pharmacist to dispense naloxone to any individual in accordance with the conditions of this order.
